THE UNOFFICIAL GUIDE
The name Mandalay Bay may ring a bell to many, since it’s one of the two five-star resorts in Las Vegas.
Based on the iconic MGM Grand complex, the resort is tied to Caesars Entertainment, a casino-gambling giant.
Back in 1979, the two resorts were simply known as MGM, but Mandalay Bay now claims to offer “the most luxurious accommodations in Las Vegas.”
Mandalay Bay is also one of the only properties to offer Vegas’ famed Lumière Grand Luxury Suite, as well as a world-class casino, restaurants, and showrooms.
If you want to stay in the most luxurious accommodation at the resort, book a villa or suite, as they’re the most sought-after rooms, the highest-quality with spectacular views of downtown Las Vegas. One suite sits atop the hotel’s Heart of the Valley Tower, with both city and Mandalay Bay views.
Outgoing Mandalay Bay also has restaurants and shows set in the resort’s surroundings, just like other hotel properties in Las Vegas. They have 20 hotels in all in the US.
